“PRESS CLUB” PROGRAM CYCLE RESUMED

Since May 23 on the evening air of “Yerkir-Media” the “Press Club” TV program
cycle resumed. Every Wednesday the representatives of state and public structures,
invited as guests of “Press Club” host Hrachya Papinian, will be discussing
the urgent issues faced by the country. The audience in studio takes part in
the discussion, too. It is expected that several programs of the cycle will
be dealing with the recent election campaign and the post-electoral processes.

On May 23 the guests of the program, the head of Transparency International-Armenia
Amalia Kostanian and the head of “It’s Your Choice” NGO Harutiun Hambardzumian,
discussed the legislative violations and cases of corruption during the parliamentary
elections of 2007.

The next “Press Club” program will be aired by “Yerkir-Media” on May 30 at
21.40.

The “Press Club” cycle was produced under a project of Media Diversity Institute,
with the support of the United Nations Development Program, Open Society Institute
Assistance Foundation-Armenia and the British Council Armenia.
