The web-site of Yerevan Press Club (www.ypc.am), the “Studies” section, presents
the Annual Report of Yerevan Press Club and the Committee to Protect Freedom
of Expression on the Freedom of Speech in Armenia in 2007. The report lists
chronologically the major developments in the media community in 2007: ranging
from various forms of pressure, the incidents, litigations, legislative changes
to reports, statements of the local and international organizations. The main
specific of year 2007 that was marked by the start of another cycle of national
elections was the increased pressure on broadcast media.
