NEW PRESS SECRETARY APPOINTED AT THE MINISTRY OF FOREIGN AFFAIRS

On February 1 RA Minister of Foreign Affairs Vardan Oskanian appointed Dzyunik Aghajanian the Press Secretary of the Foreign Office of the country and the Head of the Public Relations Department. This position was earlier occupied by Ara Papyan, presently RA Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador in Canada.

Dzyunik Aghajanian was born in 1966 in Yerevan. In 1989 she graduated with excellence from the Department of Roman and Germanic Languages of the Yerevan State University. Since 1992 she has been working in the system of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia. In 1993-1995 Ms. Aghajanian worked at the RA Embassy in USA. In 1998 Ms. Aghajanian graduated from Columbia University, New York, having received a Master’s degree in international relations. Since 1999 Ms. Aghajanian was in charge of the Information Division of the Department of Political Programming at the RA Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
