YPC WELCOMES EVERYONE TO TAKE PART IN DISCUSSION

On October 6-7, 2001 in Yerevan an international conference titled “Legal Regulation of Public and Private Broadcasting” will take place. The conference is organized by Yerevan Press Club at the assistance of East-East Program and Media Network Program of the Open Society Institute, the Council of Europe, Friedrich Ebert Foundation. Journalists and experts from the countries of South Caucasus, CIS, Eastern and Central Europe, South Africa, as well as representatives of the Council of Europe and other international organizations will take part in the conference.

The purpose of the conference is to discuss the broadcasting legislature of different countries, to study the experience of post-totalitarian countries in applying this legislature.
