On September 19 at “Riga” cinema (Riga, Latvia) the exhibition of the well-known Armenian photojournalist Zaven Khachikian was opened. The exposition “Mystery of Life” is organized under the ÕÕ Riga International Film Forum “Arsenals”, held in the capital of Latvia on September 17-26, 2010. The exhibition is composed by the works of Zaven Khachikian from four photo-series: “Mystery of the Elderly and Childhood”, “Mystery of War”, “Mystery of Monuments” and “Mystery of Stones”. “All these photo-images reflect the phenomenon of “future memory” which is the condensation of the ‘Ideal material’ culture inside the ‘Non-material’ culture”, believes Zaven Khachikian.
The exhibition is open till September 25.
