On November 12 Ashot Aharonian was appointed as the Acting Head of the Department of Public Relations and Information of RA Police. Lieutenant Colonel Ashot Aharonian has graduated from the Journalism Faculty of Yerevan State University and was the Executive Chief Editor of “02” weekly (the print organ of RA Police). Since 1999 he was the host and the author of “02” program of RA Police, aired by the First Channel of the Public Television of Armenia. Previously the PR Department was headed by Sayat Shirinian.
