MDI ANNOUNCES A VACANCY OF REGIONAL PROJECT COORDINATOR IN ARMENIA

Who are we

The Media Diversity Institute (MDI) is a London-based charitable organization specialising in media training. It is starting a new, three-year project in the South Caucasus, working with the media, journalism schools and local NGOs. The project aims to create deeper public understanding of diversity, minority groups and human rights.

About the job

Project activities include seminars, conferences, publications, journalism internship schemes, and visits by foreign media consultants. MDI needs a Project Co-ordinator (Armenia) to organize the logistical, financial and marketing elements of these activities, and to coordinate the work of MDI (London) with Armenian partner organizations, media outlets and NGOs. The contract is for three years. Pay will be a competitive professional-level Armenian salary.

About you

You will have a background in civil society, NGOs or media work. You must be highly organised, with the ability to complete complex tasks on time to a high standard. Good communication skills are essential. You should be competent in English language. Experience in project coordination would be an advantage, but is not essential.
