“E-CLUB” CYCLE: E-BOOKS AND LIBRARIES

On November 15 another program from “E-Club” weekly cycle went on the online broadcast of “A1+” TV company (www.a1plus.am). The “E-Club” is produced by Yerevan Press Club in cooperation with “A1+” TV company under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.

The program was dealing with E-books and libraries – history of their creation, advantages and disadvantages of reader softwares, Armenian E-archives, copyright issues on the Web. The “E-Club” news block told about the Facebook intentions to return the old News Feed design, as the users did not like the new one, about the plans of Microsoft to create computers for people in need. The ratings of online sources and headlines of last week were presented by founders of ArmComedy News Network (www.armcomedy.com) Sergey Sargsian and Narek Margarian. The websites’ top list headed Facebook, while the most popular news was the YouTube video on the welcome speech of RA Prime Minister Tigran Sargsian at the concert of Tata Simonian, held on November 12 in Yerevan.

The next “E-Club” will be aired on “A1+” on Tuesday, November 22 at 15.50 (rerun – on Friday, November 25 at 20.00).
