On November 17 the regional daily “Gyumri-Asparez” placed on its front page a Quick Reader Code enabling smartphone users to access the newspaper articles and comment on them via Internet. The QR Code is a novelty in Armenian newspapers. According Chief Editor of “Gyumri-Asparez” Levon Barseghian, the innovation aims to expand the daily’s young audience.
