“FACE OF THE COUNTRY” – PRE-ELECTION DEBATES BETWEEN “HERITAGE” AND “ORINATS YERKIR”

On March 7 the “Yerkri Demky” (“Face of the Country”) cycle of pre-election debates went on the evening air of “Yerkir Media” TV company. The cycle is produced by Yerevan Press Club under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.

The guests of talk show host YPC President Boris Navasardian were Lusineh Petrosian, representative of “Heritage” party, and Artur Misakian, Board Member of “Orinats Yerkir” party. The program participants discussed the influence of recent Russian presidential elections on the Armenian developments, the women representation in electoral lists of parties, running in the May 6, 2012 National Assembly elections, the attitude of political forces towards civic protest actions.

The next “Face of the Country” will be aired on “Yerkir Media” on Thursday, March 15 at 18.15 (rerun – on Monday, March 19 at 16.15).
