“E-CLUB” CYCLE: INTERNET AND TRANSPORT

On March 6 another program of “E-Club” weekly cycle went on the online broadcast of “A1+” TV company (www.a1plus.am). The “E-Club” is produced by Yerevan Press Club in cooperation with “A1+” TV under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.

The program was devoted to online sources informing about transport communication in Armenia. Particularly, the websites www.marshrut.info (guide of Yerevan public transport), http://flightinfo.am (“Zvartnots” airport of Yerevan), www.mtc.am (RA Ministry of Transport and Communication), were presented. The news bloc of “E-Club” told about the Android application of “A1+”, providing mobile access to “A1+” website; about the ban on Facebook in Tajikistan; the March 7 Apple presentation of two iPad-3 with different internal memory storage. The ratings of online sources and headlines of last week were presented by Arman Gharibian, founder of public network initiative “Dignified Transport”. The web sources’ top list was headed by Facebook, while the most popular topic was the murder of businesswoman Irina Ziroyan in Moscow.

The next “E-Club” will be aired on “A1+” on Tuesday, March 13 at 15.50 (rerun – on Thursday, March 15 at 18.20).
