NOW ARMENIA HAS HER OWN MK(S)

On September 25, in Yerevan, the first issue of “MK-Armenia” newspaper, a joint project of “Moskovskiy Komsomolets” and business weekly “Delovoy Express”, was published.

As Eduard Naghdalian, Chief Editor of “MK-Armenia” (also heading “Delovoy Express”) told YPC, the newspaper will be published weekly with a print run of 3,000 copies and will present a compilation of the reports of Russian journalists, as well as a liner of “Delovoy Express”.

Recently Maksim Kiselyov has become the chief producer of the Public Television of Armenia.

In an interview to “Haykakan Zhamanak” daily, the Chairman of the Council of the Public TV and Radio Company of Armenia, Ruben Jaghinian, noted that the appointment of Maksim Kiselyov at the Public Television of Armenia was his idea ("Public Broadcaster Has a New Producer", “Haykakan Zhamanak”, October 1, 2013). According to “Haykakan Zhamanak”, Maksim Kiselyov was the captain of the KVN (Club of Cheerful and Quick-Witted, Russian TV game show, popular since Soviet times) team from Smolensk called “Triode and Diode”.

YPC made an inquiry for information from the Public TV and Radio Company of Armenia. Press Secretary of the PTA Anna Avanesyan explained that the newly appointed producer is not a famous KVN player, but a journalist who has “long and productive experience of work in several leading Russian media”, particularly on the First Channel of the Russian television, as well as on TV channels “Russia” and “Russia 24”.

Press Secretary also noted that Maksim Kiselyov serves as the acting chief producer of the Public Television of Armenia since September 10, 2013.

“In order to avoid misunderstanding” the letter was accompanied by a picture of Maksim Kiselyov, which we present below.
