On September 4-5 in Istanbul a partner meeting on “Strengthening Democracy
by Freedom of Expression in South Caucasus” was held. The project is implemented
by “Article 19” Global Campaign for Freedom of Expression jointly with regional
NGOs, including Yerevan Press Club. The meeting participants discussed the process
of program implementation and further forms of cooperation on four main directions:
freedom of information, education and training, media self-regulation, lobbying
the media-related legislation.
