On March 23-25 in Tsaghkadzor “Problems of Regional Press Before Elections
to the RA National Assembly” conference was held. The event was organized by
the Journalists Union of Armenia with the support of UNESCO Moscow Office. The
conference participants – the editors of regional media – discussed the general
problems faced by regional press, issues of self-regulation and protection of
journalists, election legislation and the role of regional media in covering
election campaigns.
