On July 11-12 in Bryansk a traditional football tournament of journalistic
teams of former Soviet Union countries was held. In the competitions journalists’
teams from Yerevan (Armenia), Lutsk (Ukraine), Minsk (Belarus), Vilnus (Lithuania),
Moscow, Bryansk, Volgograd (Russia) took part. The tournament winner were Minsk
journalists, the “silver” was scored by the team of Lutsk, the “bronze” was
taken by the team of Volgograd. Having lost to the two winners as well as the
pitch hosts, with the victory over three other teams, the journalists of Yerevan
were the fourth.
