On February 3 another program of “Press Club” cycle, dealing with journalism ethics, was aired on “Yerkir Media” TV company. The talk show series are produced by Yerevan Press Club under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.
The talk show dealt with the Armenian media coverage on the compliance of NGOs activities and their grants received to the public interests. The program discussants – Stepan Grigorian, Head of Analytical Center for Globalization and Regional Cooperation, and Gevorg Harutiunian, correspondent of “Hayots Ashkhar” daily, presented their positions. The experts of the talk show were Astghik Gevorgian, Chairwoman of Journalists Union of Armenia, YPC Expert Mikayel Zolian, Ashot Melikian, Chairman of Committee to Protect Freedom of Expression, lawyer Ara Ghazarian. Aram Abrahamian, Chief Editor of “Aravot” daily, led the discourse.
The next “Press Club” talk show will be aired on “Yerkir Media” on Friday, February 10 at 18.35 (rerun – on Tuesday, February 14 at 14.15).
