MEO Expert Judgment of March 23, 2016 on the reciprocal complaints of journalists Gohar Vezirian and Paylak Fahradian. Newsbook.am Editor Gohar Vezirian’s complaint against journalist Paylak Fahradian’s February 23, 2016 Facebook post and Paylak Fahradian’s complaint against the piece published on February 23, 2016 on Newsbook.am website were discussed at the MEO session. Both parties were present at the session and introduced their arguments. On April 19, 2016 MEO issued its expert judgment. On the same day it was published on Newsbook.am and on Paylak Fahradian’s Facebook page.

January 27, 2016 MEO Advice to “Newmag” Magazine regarding the piece “Who Was the Runaway Bride, and What Happened to Her?”, published in the online version of the magazine on January 13, 2016. The piece contained information on the private life of a person, who is not a public figure. After discussing the piece MEO advised to “Newmag” to remove any data and photo identifying the person, as well as in case of need to undertake other measures to settle the eventual dispute in extrajudicial procedure. On January 30, 2016 Newmag published the MEO Advice as well as informed that accepted it. Newmag apologized to the heroine of the piece and edited the piece, removing the photo and  all the identifying data.
