On September 8 the National Commission on Television and Radio announced new broadcast licensing competitions. Five vacant frequencies are introduced to competitions in a number of Armenian cities: three UHFs – 31st of Hrazdan (Kotayk region), 21st of Sevan (Gegharkunik region), 21st of Yeghegnadzor (Vayots Dzor region); on two VHFs – 2nd of Vanadzor (Lori region) and 12th of Noyemberian (Tavush region) currently "Media-Soft" LLC and "Qamut" TV broadcast, respectively. The deadline for the applications in the competitions is October 5, 2003. The applications will be considered on October 16 by the National Commission.
