ARMENIAN SCHOOL OF JOURNALISM

The Journalism Department of Yerevan State University and the Washington-based
International Center for Journalists implement in Armenia the project “Armenian
School of Journalism. The New International Master’s Degree Program”. 10-12
students (the application deadline is on September 15) for four semesters, from
October 2006 till May 2008, will be trained in modern journalism and media management.
Journalism faculty and the curriculum for the School will be provided by IСFJ
with the cooperation from Louisiana State University and Kent State University
(USA), as well as the Caucasus School of Journalism and Media Management (Georgia).
The graduates of the Armenian School of Journalism will receive both the Master’s
diploma of YSU Journalism Department, as well as the internationally recognized
certificate from ICFJ.

The project is implemented with the financial assistance of the US Agency for
International Development (USAID).
