“FACE OF THE COUNTRY” – PRE-ELECTION DEBATES BETWEEN COMMUNISTS AND “UNITED ARMENIANS”

On March 29 the “Yerkri Demky” (“Face of the Country”) cycle of pre-election debates went on the evening air of “Yerkir Media” TV company. The cycle is produced by Yerevan Press Club under “Alternative Resources in Media” project, supported by USAID.

The guests of talk show host YPC President Boris Navasardian were Tachat Sargsian, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of Communist Party of Armenia, and Hovhannes Hovhannisian, Deputy Chairman of “United Armenians” party. The discussion focused on the goals that these parties seek, while running in the 2012 parliamentary elections, their geopolitical preferences, assessments of Armenian economy and their position towards forms of property on objects of state importance.

The next “Face of the Country” will be aired on “Yerkir Media” on Thursday, April 5 at 18.15 (rerun – on Monday, April 9 at 16.15).
