The Importance of RA Snap Parliamentary Elections in the Context of Armenia-EU Relations – November 2-4, 2018, Aghveran, Armenia, seminar organized by Yerevan Press Club with the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The participants (26 in number) were representatives of diplomatic missions, expert community, NGOs and media of Armenia. Main issues discussed: aspects on the EU-Armenia cooperation and the CEPA implementation in the Armenian political field; approaches of European circles regarding the EU-Armenia cooperation and the CEPA implementation; reflection of EU-Armenia cooperation in Armenian media; EU support to the Armenian snap parliamentary elections; provisions on the EU-Armenia cooperation and the CEPA implementation in the election programs of “Citizen’s Decision” social democratic party and “Bright Armenia” party.

Start of CEPA: Delays in the Process and Promises – September 21-23, 2018, Aghveran, Armenia, seminar organized by Yerevan Press Club with the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The participants (27 in number) were representatives of state structures, expert community, NGOs and media of Armenia. Main issues discussed: CEPA implementation Roadmap; monitoring of the implementation of the EU-Armenia cooperation priorities; global political developments and their implications on the Eastern Partnership; reflection of EU-Armenia cooperation in Armenian media; current stage of Armenia’s multi-vector policy; prospects of cooperation between RA Government and civil society in the course of CEPA implementation.

Training for Journalists of Armenian Regional TV Companies – September 1-3, 2018, Aghveran, Armenia, organized by Democratic Society East, Poland, in partnership with Yerevan Press Club in the frames of “Professionalization of Armenian Regional TV Companies: Poland’s Experience” project, co-financed by Polish-American Freedom Foundation. The participants (16 in number) were representatives of Armenian local media and experts from Poland.

Start of CEPA: Opportunities and Challenges – May 11-13, 2018, Aghveran, Armenia, seminar organized by Yerevan Press Club with the support of Friedrich Ebert Foundation. The participants (21 in number) were representatives of expert community, NGOs and media of Armenia. Main issues discussed: EU-Armenia Comprehensive and Enhanced Partnership Agreement implementation road map; geopolitical and internal political context: reflection in media and public discourse; new EaP architecture for 2018-2020 and priorities for Armenia; role and capacity of Armenian civil society in EU-Armenia relations; development Indexes and progress of Armenia comparing to other countries of the region; EaP deliverables for 2020 and their reflection in CEPA.
